Nobodies are made when people with strong hearts become Heartless. The remains (body and soul) are then born anew in Twilight Town. A Nobody has no real emotions, and they are constantly plagued and tormented by feelings of being "incomplete" and an empty void inside of them. Most Nobodies have deformed and inhuman appearances. However, Nobodies who had exceptionally strong hearts can retain their human form with only minor alterations.
These Nobodies have banded together and formed a group called "Organization XIII" where they dedicate themselves to studying the secrets of the heart in hopes that they'll be able to find a way to become human again. The members in Organization XIII all have an assigned rank, given to them at the moment they joined. Naturally, I is the rank of the Superior, while XIII is given to their newest member.
Larxene ranks in at number XII and is the only female Nobody in the Organization. Yet despite her rank, she holds little to no respect towards most of the other members, elder or neophyte.
Arrogant and conniving, she grows tired and unsatisfied with having the Superior in charge and begins to conspire with Marluxia and Axel on overthrowing the Organization to achieve their own plans. Using Castle Oblivion and the "witch" Nanime; Larxene, Marluxia, and Axel hope to manipulate Sora's memories and use him to gain control of the Organization...

Backstory
Larxene is a Nobody and a member in Organization XIII. She was "born" in Twilight Town when she lost her heart to the darkness.Nobodies are made when people with strong hearts become Heartless.
