What's In The Past:
Renamon doesn't remember much of her past in the Digital World, whether by choice or chance. Like all Digimon, she hatched from a digi-egg, lived as her baby form, Viximon, for awhile before naturally digivolving into Renamon. Though her memories are flawed, she would say, however, that you have to fight to survive there, and every day would be a constant struggle. Because, or in spite of this, Renamon became strong, usually so, for a "Rookie," or first-level Digimon. Fighting was her way of life, and she excelled in defeating her enemies and loading their data (absorbing their essence) to become stronger. Time would pass by, and Renamon would realize that if she wanted to become strong enough to digivolve, she would need a Tamer.

At that time, Rika Nonaka was a well-known Tamer. Harsh and abrasive, but surprisingly effective, Rika was dubbed the "Digimon Queen" for her skills. One night portals from the Digital World opened, and multiple Digimon beseeched her to be their Tamer. Overwhelmed and frustrated, Rika yelled that she just wanted one strong Digimon. The rest slowly disappeared from view, and Renamon strode forward to join her Tamer.

Renamon didn't remember how she got to the human world; she was only aware at the time of the bond between her and Rika, even if it was a strained one. Upon meeting the other two Tamers, Takato and Henry, and their Digimon, Guilmon and Terriermon, both agreed that the others were weaklings and worthless, and that their feelings toward each other hindered their strength. The agreeing ended there however, as Rika saw Digimon as fighting machines with no soul or actual consciousness, and Renamon saw humans as tools to become strong and help her to digivolve. Even so, Renamon always stayed invisibly near Rika, ready to come to her aid in a moment's notice. Renamon was the first of the two to actually care about the other, even though it was unrequited for a long time. Rika's cold and uncaring attitude, as well as her harsh words and actions actually hindered the growth that both wanted to achieve. The lack of that growth, and it's subsequent frustration, caused the two to part ways to try and understand why.

Renamon took a walk one night and ran into Impmon, a Digimon who told her that Digimon who were humans' slaves would always be weaker, before leaving. Rika, out looking for Renamon, came upon Dokugumon, a powerful large spider Digimon, who had already started a fight with Renamon. Renamon was severely outclassed, and Rika attempted to draw Dokugumon's attention away. It worked too well, and Renamon had to jump in front of Rika to save her. At that time, a little Digimon named Calumon appeared for seemingly no reason. Rika finally saw Renamon as a living thing for the first time, and cried out in sorrow. Rika's emotional outburst finally allowed Renamon to digivolve into "Champion" level Kyubimon--the four-legged, nine-tailed, blue-fire wielding kitsune, and defeat Dokugumon.

Afterwards, the two moved in awkward sync until Rika again denied that she cared about Renamon, and told her that she didn't need her. Soon after, she was kidnapped by Icedevimon, a fallen angel Digimon, and he tried to force her to become his Tamer. She refused and said that she had Renamon. Renamon tried to rescue Rika and failed, leaving her to be rescued by the other Tamers. Rika, scared and doubting, renounced all Digimon and the two split again, to see if both could become stronger on their own. They separated for a long period of time, with Rika thinking about life and feelings, and Renamon thinking about connections and if Impmon was right. During this time, Renamon couldn't digivolve but continued to fight. One night a Harpymon attacked, and Renamon beat her by willing herself power, but didn't finish her off because she saw Rika, who had been drawn there by Calumon. The Harpymon attacked again, with Renamon at a complete disadvantage. Rika, trying to help, stabbed the Harpymon with a branch. Fueled by Rika's emotions, Calumon helped Renamon to digivolve once again and defeat Harpymon. From that point the two formed a united front, accented by their social inadequacies at times, but for the whole, strong.

After a time period, strong Digimon called the Devas, ones based on the Chinese zodiac, who believed humans and Digimon working together were an abomination, started to appear. Rika and Renamon fought alongside the other two Tamers and their Digimon to try and destroy the threat. One such Deva, Vajramon, admired Renamon and courted her in an attempt to convince her to join them. She spoke with him at length to gain information, then denied his request, which caused him to angrily attack her. The others showed up, along with Calumon. Rika, desperate, searched for something to help Renamon, and in response, found a Blue Card, which unlocks the next level of digivolution. Using the card, and all of Calumon's strange power, Rika helped Renamon digivolve into Taomon, the anthropomorphic fox dressed in the robes of Taoism and wielding a giant paint-brush. Vajramon was disgusted by her humanoid appearance, but even so, Taomon quite easily dispatched the proud Deva.

After a few more large scale attacks by the Devas--the last almost leveled their city, and resulted in Calumon being kidnapped--the Tamers and their Digimon decided to try to enter the Digital World, rescue Calumon, and confront the threat issued to their world. This was easier said than done, and while they searched for a way, each of the Tamers "came out" to their family. In Rika's case it was accidental, and her grandmother stated that she knew Rika had a close friend, though she was surprised to see it was a talking fox. Renamon had been trying to convince Rika not to go to the Digital World, but when Rika's grandmother called Renamon Rika's "guardian angel," and asked her to protect Rika, Renamon stopped fighting and agreed. Soon after, a portal was found deep inside a sewer pipe, and with preparations complete, they set off.

Upon entering the Digital World, Rika and Renamon were separated from the rest of the group. Gradually they found the others and faced off against Beelzemon, the forced Mega (or last and most powerful) form of Impmon, who had gone over to the Deva's side. They fought against him unsuccessfully with losses on their side until Guilmon and Takato were able to ascend to that same level and defeat him. A god-like Digimon called Azulongmon descended from the sky then, to explain that the Devas were misguided in their belief that Tamers weaken Digimon, and that Calumon is actually the Catalyst, a being that makes Digivolution possible, put into Digimon form to protect him from being used wrongfully. Azulongmon also told of an AI program called the D-Reaper, which was designed to erase bugs and viruses, but went out of control and started to eliminate any artificial life. He also said that the D-Reaper is preceded by "Chaos," a red substance that breaks down all digital matter.

Still searching for Calumon, the Tamers and Digimon found a deep cavern filled with ever-increasing Chaos. Rika and Renamon started downwards, and found Calumon. Both then realized that they were surrounded by Chaos, and if they simply escaped, it would overtake the others. They passed Calumon off, and both, in a moment of peace, told the other that they trusted each other, and jumped into the chasm. That moment of emotional clarity and Calumon's power allowed them to Bio-Merge, or combine together, to form Renamon's Mega form, the armored priestess Sakuyamon. Her cleansing spells and seals of protection destroyed part of the Chaos and restrained the rest while everyone escaped. Afterwards Renamon and Rika went to find the defeated Impmon who Renamon sensed was still alive, while the others found a way to leave before the Chaos overtook the entire Digital World. Using Renamon's connection to Impmon, they found him, and barely making it back in time, joined with the others to finally go home.

Going back home wasn't the respite that they had imagined though. The D-Reaper had infiltrated the human world, and it had decided that humans, like digital life, had to be exterminated. The Chaos that covered the D-Reaper was an ever-regenerative gelatinous mass, and even the Digimon's Mega forms were no match. They eventually realized that they needed to destroy the core of the D-Reaper, and so the Tamers and Digimon, along with Beelzemon, allowed themselves to be absorbed to fight against it. Henry and Terriermon started a black-hole program to swallow the D-Reaper, which had been installed by the original creators of Digimon and the D-Reaper. In a moment of unity, Rika and Renamon gave their power to Takato and Guilmon, which allowed them to strike the fatal blow.

What wasn't known was that the black-hole program wouldn't allow any digital life to stay in the human world. All Digimon found themselves in their "In-Training," or baby forms, and were forced to say good-bye to their human partners. Renamon had finally found a bond important enough to protect, and she wasn't allowed to keep it. A light from the Digital World came down to take them back, and the last thing Renamon knew was Rika finally saying, "I love you," before everything brightened to a blinding shine.

Physical Description:
As a Digimon, Renamon is a tall two-legged yellow fox with a white chest, paws, and tail tip. She has purple glove-like things, and large yin-yangs on the back of each three-fingered paw. She has purple pre-combined yin-yangs (or the Pisces symbol) on her thighs, and purple lightning bolt shaped zig-zags under each eye on her cheekbones.

As a human, "Reiko" is about 5'6" with sharp oriental features. She's wiry and slender, with chin-length bright blonde hair, highlighted with pale streaks. Her almond teal eyes stand out in their brightness. Her "tattoos" are still there in her human form, adding to her eye-catching traits.

Reiko would have a habit of constantly walking on the balls of her feet, both because she was a fox, and because of a want and need for stealth. Her face doesn't show many emotions at all, and she has a tendency to lock gazes. Without her large tail she may be a bit off balance, so she'll compensate by walking very carefully until she gets used to it. That, combined with her other walking habit, will most likely give the impression of creeping. When she talks, which she doesn't a lot, it would be low and concise
.

Personality:
Renamon’s main attribute is her devotion to Rika. She has gone far beyond love with her; she is able and willing to live or die for her, or anything else that would help her. And by now, Renamon’s pretty secure in the fact that Rika feels the same. From their Bio-Digivolvution, they basically shared souls and now have the closest bond that beings can have. She loves Rika, naturally, but she wouldn’t lessen it to call it that. What they have is much deeper.

Renamon’s base driving force is the desire to acquire strength. Her “childhood” of fighting to survive has made her strong, somewhat jaded, and a realist about life, but she also became very self-reliant and persevering. It wouldn’t occur to Renamon to give up; it’s just not her way. As long as she has breath, she’ll keep fighting for what she believes. She’s from the school of thought that there are no actual limits, and that if you have something or someone to protect, you are as strong as you need to be.

Renamon’s silent nature added to her quick movements and the habit of watching others makes her intimidating to some. She’s quick to use that if she needs to, since fear is easier to garner than respect. She watches, constantly, to learn about her surroundings and the people in it, so she’s always alert. She prioritizes stealth, and is usually seen only after she’s been there for awhile. Her skills come from speed and stealth so it’s not surprising for her to “appear from nowhere,” or for her enemies to soon become entangled in themselves trying to locate her. She's intelligent and adaptable, with her mental agility giving her an edge in tight situations. She does have a cocky edge as well when she has the upper hand, and is not above mocking weaker opponents.

She’s a very regal being with great composure and an inner calmness, and is usually seen sitting in quiet spots meditating or contemplating life. She’s a very mature being, and is quite awkward in humorous situations. She interacts infrequently with others, and when she does, she shows her lack of social skills; ignoring most small talk to get right at the point. Even so, she shows a good display of reading others’ feelings, and usually sees the inherent good in people that others ignore. She’s greatly compassionate, if she thinks they deserve it, and is willing to sacrifice for others. To describe her in one word would be dignity. Dignity, grace, stealth, speed, silence, and complete and utter devotion is Renamon. She’s fallen from grace time and time again, but has found it in her to rise every time, and will do so again.

Abilities:
While Renamon can no longer Digivolve or use her special attacks or spells, she can still turn invisible, though it's not the easy task it was in her world(s). If she completely concentrated, it would only last for about five minutes, and if someone bumped into her, or if she got distracted or surprised, it would completely negate it.

Renamon has excellent hearing, allowing her to hear clearly across the room (which, of course, has the negative trait of close loud noise being deafening). She is stated as being able to outrun traffic and at times looks as though she teleports, so as a human she has Olympic runner speed. She excels in hand-to-hand combat, and has great agility and balance. She's mentally quick, and very adaptable. She's also very, very good at not being noticed by others.

Renamon can also instantly tell if someone is a Digimon, no matter what they look like, and since she's become Sakuyamon, she can sense living people. In essence, she can tell if someone's a Digimon, if someone's a human, or none of the above.

At Landel's:
At Landel's, Renamon is now a human. This irks her to no end. Not having her tail or fur are her key annoyances, and if she gets upset she focuses on that. She wears a sweatshirt almost constantly to try and make up for the hairlessness of her new body. She is drawn to younger patients, and instantly forms a protective instinct for them. She's been focusing on theories about the place, instead of focusing on what she's lost.

Her first day, the 32nd, gave her instabilities and a lot of information to work through. She forms theories about doors, and that perhaps Landel controls some, before setting up appointments for the next day with others familiar with multiple worlds. She finds out that she can still "slide," or fade from sight, and learns that there are others that aren't human here. She befriends Yukari and Toboe, and makes plans to explore the Chapel with the wolf that night. When night came, the two run into Orihime, and the three continue, stopping only to engage an undead cat in battle so it wouldn't harm other patients. Renamon manages to drive it off but is wounded. Orihime heals part of it, and they make it to the Chapel, only to realize Toboe has completely disappeared. Already freaked out, Renamon becomes more upset when the statue in the church heals her by giving the remainder of her wounds to Orihime. The two depart to talk more, Renamon tries her sliding power again, and learns that Gundams are very useful to have, before the night ends.

The 33rd started her business meetings regarding her theory of doors(/gates/portals). She met with Sora and Kairi, then Rangiku, to try to learn more about how others define other worlds, and how they travel to them. She finds that Rangiku's worlds and her own have much in common, and she's interested in Sora's Keyblade and its capabilities. She later meets with Dairine after exercising a bit to clear her head, but instead of sticking to plan, they talk about digital beings, and Renamon becomes interested in the computer wizard. At night she meets the acquaintance of Toph, a young girl that seems to have some martial skills. The two travel to the greenhouse to accumulate weapons, then head toward the file room to see what information they can gather. On their way, they meet Dairine, and she joins them in finding out that the file room holds patient files. They each steal their own, as well as Yukari's, Orihime's, and Toboe's. The last stop of the night is to try the supposedly opened front door. The open part was true, but no sooner did they get outside were they attacked by two relentless giant birds. Renamon is both surprised by Dairine's mastery of fire, and Toph's exclamation that she's blind, but she gets to act on neither, as the night suddenly ends.

The 34th was a difficult day. She spoke with Vlad, who fortified her theories, and then Namine, who Renamon instantly formed a one-sided connection with because of their similarities. Finally meeting with Edgeworth gave her the realization that she was fictional as well--which didn't shock her as much as her and Rika's relationship being public knowledge. She also learns about Alec Doyle and the experimental trials before being dragged into the showers--a shattering experience for the past fox Digimon. She barely makes it through her interview with Angel, focusing on the glitches of the Institute. At night, Renamon meets with Yukari to head for the possessions room. She gathers items from the boxes of Orihime, Toph, Toboe, and Dairine and puts them into her own, and attempts to talk to Yukari about a situation she was having before the night ended.

The 35th showed Renamon in a Catholic school-girl's uniform, being dragged to a trip to Doyletown. She accidently meets Hitsugaya, and shares information with him. She then meets Orihime, and her acquaintence, Jiraiya, and learns to control her anger when a gust of wind flips her skirt up. She gets into a talk with Jiraiya about theories and they agree to meet later. She heads off to speak with Toph, and ask the girl how she's doing, before being escorted back to the bus to sit by an odd young man. At night, Renamon meets with Orihime, Dairine, and Toph, to give them their things. Renamon has a rare moment of weakness and comfort with Orihime, while her and Dairine plan to fix a computer. Renamon holds on to Toph's file, but learns a bit more about the girl.

The 36th Renamon bumped into Edgeworth again, and ran her and Jiraiya's theory past him. In doing so, she came up with a more horrifying one. She shared this with Jiraiya, and they both expanded upon it, before their conversation turned to foxes in human form, and through that, Digimon. The man made some insight observations, and Renamon grew to like him despite herself. Her visitor for the day was Rika, and after a hard conversation the Digimon's resolve to stay strong and escape swelled after she saw her partner. She went through her file and box, and finding them both laughable, meets with Mello to further discuss theories. Afterward, she ran an errand for someone and in doing so, gathered many more weapons, and items for Dairine's computer as well. Hearing the radio, she headed for the Arts & Crafts room; pulling Jiraiya and Sakura with her because of her uncharactistic flirting. They join a fight and win it, and Renamon finds the prize.

The 37th started off with Renamon meeting Kakashi, a friend of Jiraiya who she shared information and theories with, then meeting a man who called himself Adam, who she brought up to speed. She then went to meet Orihime. The two have touch and go moments about theories, loss, and visitors, before Orihime broke down, and Renamon was more than willing to be there for her. She catches up with Yukari the next shift, touching on her theories as well, to which Yukari suggested talking to Mitsuru. The shift ends as Yukari was teasing Renamon about the Digimon perhaps liking someone. At night, she droped off vials for someone, bumped into Sakura, and headed upstairs to gather more weapons and items. She found S-C!Yukari soon after, and got into a fight with her before it was interupted by Yukari's teammates and Falis. After some trouble, Renamon healed the then-unconscious Yukari, and took her back to her room. She headed back upstairs, and became involved in a fight the Naruto group with in, destroying one of the enemies they were facing before day came.

The 38th Renamon spoke with Yukari about the events of the previous night. It didn't go as well as she hoped and left the Digimon uneasy. She spent time with Jiraiya, and after teasing him a bit to cheer him up, the man admited that he likes her. Notoriously bland about the whole affair, Renamon nonetheless offered him a chance to gain her affections. She met with Peter Petreli about his disappearing brother, and spoke to Mitsuru about both of her main theories. Feeling somewhat productive, but unaccomplished, Renamon prepares for the upcoming night....
